Hopefully Matt LeBlanc has gotten used to driving on the left side of the road, because the Top Gear host has signed a deal with BBC to stay on for two more seasons.
Chris Evans was LeBlanc’s co-host for their first season on the show but stepped down as ratings fell, making the program’s future unclear. Chris Harris and Rory Reid will now join LeBlanc as co-presenters, the BBC reports.
“I am thrilled that Matt LeBlanc is returning to Top Gear, said BBC2’s channel editor, Patrick Holland. “He’s a huge talent whose love of cars is infectious. I can’t wait for the series to return to BBC2 next year.”
BBC agreed to film around LeBlanc’s schedule for his new U.S. sitcom, Man With a Plan.
