Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders each hold comfortably wide margins of advantage in the most recent polls on Tuesday’s New Hampshire primary.
According to the CNN/WMUR poll released Monday night, Sanders was leading Hillary Clinton 61% to 35% among Democratic primary voters. Among Republicans, Trump held 31%, followed by Marco Rubio with 17%, Ted Cruz with 14% and John Kasich with 10%. Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina, Chris Christie and Ben Carson were each in the single digits.
The latest results from the Emerson College Polling Society showed a closer Democratic race, with Sanders leading Clinton 54% to 42%. While Trump holds exactly the same amount of support in the Emerson poll (31%), his competitors have a much different spread: There, Jeb Bush is holding second place with 16% of support, followed by John Kasich with 13%, Marco Rubio with 12% and Ted Cruz with 11%.
